Today has been a flurry of last minute details,
communication, making beds, finalizing events.
This event is a great act of faith for about Ten individuals, most of
whom are not in Ottawa to pull off. The
plans are full of holes but there is so much good will out there from everyone
I see. When I ask people to help, I’ve
never had so many yes’s. People are
hungry for climate leadership and they are hungry for hope.
I am now awaiting the arrival of the core group from
Toronto. We will have vegan spaghetti as
a celebration meal before we begin the fast.
We’ll be putting together our individual pieces and preparing ourselves
for the fast.
A big thanks to everyone who has contributed in some small
way to help us get this off the ground.
